Our event presented breakthrough strategies and tools for effectively leveraging Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and Zero-Knowledge (ZKP) concepts in both regulated and unregulated environments. Attendees also learned how KYC data and identifying information in general can be reused in onboardings in the B2C as well as B2B space.

Experts gave a deep insight into the state of the art and presented forward-looking applications and practices. Participants learned how these technologies can make the management of personal data more secure, efficient and transparent, as well as how ownership of it can be transferred back to the users themselves.

By reusing KYC and identification data, organizations can significantly reduce the costs of onboarding, streamline their processes and significantly improve the user experience while building customer trust.

Dr. Tim Weingärtner is a professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland. His research focuses on blockchain technology (DLT), in particular DeFi, Self-Sovereign Identity, and the application of DLT to solve real-world problems. Tim is president of the DEC Institute and a board member of DIDAS (Self-Sovereign Identity). As a representative in the Smart-up program, he supports the promotion of young start-ups from the university.
Tim received his PhD in medical robotics from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, and subsequently worked in the Swiss financial industry for over 15 years.

Rolf-Rauschenbach

Rolf Rauschenbach holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of St. Gallen. He currently works as Information Officer E-ID for the Federal Office of Justice of Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked – among others – as Chief Sales Officer at Procivis AG. He is also a lecturer at the HSLU and the ZHAW School of Management and Law. His research interests cover the digital transformation of democratic institutions as well as of the public administration.

Sebastian-Hepp

Sebastian Hepp studied law in Lucerne and was admitted to the bar and notary's office of the Canton of Zug. As an attorney at the law firm MME, he advises in particular nationally and internationally oriented technology companies and financial institutions with a focus on the areas of blockchain, DLT/fintech and financial services in regulatory and private law matters. Sebastian Hepp regularly publishes on topics in his areas of practice.

Bruno Kellenberger has been CEO of KYC Spider since 2021. Bruno has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, where he held various leadership positions in operations, sales, strategy, consulting and general management.

Tim_Heidfeld

Tim Heidfeld is the co-founder and CEO of IAMX, the first self-sovereign identity (SSI) solution provider to incentivize consumer activity and comply with the strictest compliance and security standards. In previous professional career steps, he was a founder or manager at Scout24, Allianz24, moneysupermarket.com, Sixt, preis24.de and handy.de. In the blockchain space, Tim develops compliance products to verify and authenticate people, organizations, assets and properties. Tim started his career as a graduate investment analyst.

Brueckmann-Tim

Tim Brückmann is co-founder und CMO of IAMX. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Tim worked in various consulting companies, founded several textile brands and built international brands in the DACH region before focusing on e-commerce. His focus is on strategic marketing, corporate communications, strategic alignment incl. strategic partnerships. Since 2018, Tim has been responsible for various blockchain projects and is also considered an expert in this field.
